A charming vintage Catholic holy water font featuring a shaped wooden wall plaque with a circular metal medallion depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The lower portion holds a translucent molded basin secured by a warm copper-tone metal band. The combination of natural wood, aged metal, and softly translucent material gives this devotional piece a lovely traditional character.
Likely dating to the mid-20th century, the font retains its original hanging hardware and displays surface wear and patina consistent with age. The basin exhibits fine crazing or crack-like lines, as photographed.
Measures approximately 6¼ inches high by 4 inches wide.
A lovely addition to a collection of vintage Catholic devotional objects.
