Vintage hinged double tabletop frame containing a wonderfully macabre collection of Northern Renaissance Last Judgment imagery after Hieronymus Bosch and Hans Memling.

The left and center images reproduce details from Hieronymus Bosch’s celebrated Last Judgement Triptych, painted circa 1490–1505 and now held by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Bosch’s densely populated infernal scenes depict sinners subjected to fantastical punishments by demons and hybrid creatures.

The far-right image reproduces portions of Hans Memling’s Last Judgement, painted circa 1467–1471 and now held by the National Museum in Gdańsk, Poland. Memling’s monumental triptych depicts Christ presiding over the Last Judgment as the saved and damned are separated between Heaven and Hell.

The reproductions have been assembled within a vintage hinged double frame with decorative gilt/brass-tone metal borders and glass fronts. The two panels fold together like a book and stand independently when partially opened, creating an unusual miniature diptych-style display.

Each framed panel measures approximately 8 × 10 inches.

Vintage condition with age-related wear, scratches, tarnishing and finish loss to the frame. Printed images show some age and irregularities as photographed.
