Beautiful vintage French oyster platter produced by Moulin des Loups in Orchies, France. This generously sized ceramic serving platter features ten molded scallop-shell wells arranged around the outer edge, with additional shell-shaped compartments in the center for oysters, lemon wedges, or accompanying sauces.
Finished in a soft white glaze with blue-gray shading that deepens within each shell, beautifully emphasizing the dimensional molded details. The elegant color palette and elaborate arrangement make this a particularly attractive example of vintage French oyster tableware.
Larger than traditional individual oyster plates, this piece is ideal for serving, entertaining, or displaying as part of a collection of French ceramics.
Bears the Moulin des Loups factory mark on the reverse.
