A handsome Matthew Boulton Sheffield plate urn-form wine cooler featuring foliate loop handles, gadroon borders, and a removable liner. Originally intended for chilling wine, these elegant vessels are equally at home today as cachepots, centerpieces, or decorative accents.
The cooler bears the double sunburst mark associated with Matthew Boulton and retains its removable liner. A classic example of English Sheffield plate with substantial decorative presence. Both have been resilvered
