A beautifully modeled antique spelter figure depicting a seated female musician in classical drapery, holding a small stringed instrument across her lap.

The figure features delicately rendered facial features, flowing garments, and a graceful seated pose, reflecting the popularity of classical and allegorical subjects in late 19th- and early 20th-century European decorative arts.

Likely Continental European in origin and dating to approximately 1890–1920, the figure was probably originally designed as an ornamental mount for a mantel clock, clock garniture, or decorative base. The hollow underside and surviving attachment points suggest that it was once part of a larger composition.

Now displayed independently, the figure makes an appealing sculptural accent for an antique collection, bookshelf, writing desk, or cabinet of curiosities.

Materials: Cast spelter with aged dark metallic finish.

Age: Circa 1890–1920.

Dimensions: Approximately 6.75 inches high × 6 inches wide × 2.5 inches deep.

Condition: Antique condition with surface wear, oxidation, patina, and finish variations consistent with age. The underside is hollow with visible mounting points, indicating probable separation from an original clock or decorative assembly. Please review photographs for condition.
