Beautiful antique French tabletop photograph frame featuring a 5 × 7 inch beveled glass panel with brass-tone fittings, small ball feet and an unusual spring-tension easel mechanism on the reverse.
The thick clear glass has a wide beveled edge, giving the otherwise minimalist frame a wonderful architectural quality. The aged brass-tone hardware has developed an attractive natural patina.
Consistent with late 19th to early 20th-century French photograph frames of this type. No maker’s mark has been identified.
Measures approximately 5 inches wide × 7 inches high.
Antique condition with age-related patina and wear. There are chips to the glass corners/edges all visible in the photographs. Please review photos closely for exact condition.
A beautiful little antique frame for a cabinet photograph, portrait, pressed botanical, miniature artwork or collected tabletop display.
