An elegant late 19th-century Franco-Chinese rose medallion porcelain tazza dating to approximately 1870-1880. The hand-decorated porcelain dish features the vibrant famille rose palette with alternating figural and floral reserves surrounding a central landscape medallion, all mounted within an ornate gilt bronze stand with beaded rim, Greek key handles, and a fluted pedestal raised on a molded base.
This decorative centerpiece beautifully blends Chinese export porcelain with French gilt bronze mounts, a popular luxury furnishing style of the late 19th century. It makes an exceptional statement on a dining table, console, or center table and pairs effortlessly with traditional, Grandmillennial, and European-inspired interiors.
