This fifth edition was published in Paris by Librairie Ch. Poussielgue in 1896.
Beautiful period binding featuring a dark leather spine and corners with raised bands and gilt lettering, paired with striking pink, burgundy and gold marbled paper boards. The interior features additional multicolor marbled endpapers. An early ownership inscription appears opposite the title page.
Measures approximately 7.5 × 5 inches.
Good antique condition with age-related rubbing, edge wear, toning and wear/loss to the leather, particularly at the head of the spine and raised bands. Pages show expected age toning. Binding remains highly decorative and displays beautifully. Please review photographs closely for condition.
