This service is for a quick, professional evaluation of your item based on photos and information you provide.
If you’re wondering what something is, how old it might be, or what it could realistically sell for, this is the right place to start.
This is a conversational-style evaluation, not a formal written appraisal. You will receive a clear, expert opinion along with a general value range based on current market trends.
This service is ideal for resale planning, curiosity, or deciding next steps before investing in a full appraisal.
Turnaround time is typically 1–7 business days.
Important Notes:
This is not a formal appraisal and is not intended for insurance, legal, or tax purposes. Values provided reflect general market insight and may vary depending on venue and timing.
Once purchased, send photos and relevant information to:
madeline@heritagehavenantiques.com
I’m excited to work with you on evaluating your treasures. To make sure I can provide the most accurate and organized feedback, please follow these guidelines when submitting items for evaluation:
Please include your full name and contact information in every email. All item submissions should be sent to: madeline@heritagehavenantiques.com.
Each item needs to be sent in a separate email so I can keep track of them easily.
Photos should be clear, taken in good lighting, and sent in full resolution.
For artwork or paintings, please send photos of the front and back, close-ups of the stretcher, frame, and corners, and include measurements in inches.
For rugs or textiles, please send photos of both the front/top and back/bottom, and include measurements in feet (length by width).
For decorative objects and furniture, please send photos of all sides and construction details. Be sure to include measurements in inches for height, width, and depth. If there are any markings, stamps, or labels, include close-ups. If the piece has drawers, pull one out and photograph the joinery as well.
Along with photos, include any relevant information you know about the piece. This can be where you acquired it, what was said about it at the time, receipts, or any tags or labels. Also note any damage, repairs, or alterations you are aware of.
The clearer and more detailed the photos and information, the more accurate and helpful your evaluation will be. Please remember that one email per item keeps everything organized and ensures nothing is overlooked.
I truly appreciate your business and look forward to working with you.
