A beautifully atmospheric British or Welsh early 20th-century coastal landscape depicting Aberdove, Wales, a historic seaside village on the Welsh coast. The painting captures the sweeping view of the shoreline and mountains across the estuary, with a winding cliffside road, distant blue peaks, and a solitary white building nestled against the water—classic features of the Aberdovey coastline.

Executed on academy artist board with visible period craquelure, the piece retains partial labeling from Doe & Co., New York, a known late 19th–early 20th century supplier of prepared boards and varnishes. Pencil inscriptions on the back include the location name and original size notes, typical of plein-air or academic field studies from the era.

Housed in its original c. 1900–1925 gilt gesso frame with scrollwork and stepped inner molding. The frame shows minor age wear consistent with its age but displays beautifully.
